United Auto Credit The rudest jerks I have ever encountered Charlotte North Carolina

My husband recently was layed off from his job. We were unable to make the September payment on time to this company. The payment was not even 24 hours late when the phone harassments began.

The first thing they did was call everybody on our contact list and tell them we were worthless scum and that they needed to make our payment. They called my 80 year old grandmother six times in one day and were very, very,rude to her. Next they called my mother and ask her if we were involved in illegal doings. when I guestioned the guy about it he called her a liar and said I must have a guilty conscience. Other friends reported the non-stop calls in a single day and also reported that the level of rudeness got worse with each call.

The phone calls we received were to my cell phone and I did not have any minutes on it so it was a couple weeks before I could get to them, When I did I was called retarded, so dumb I can't dial a phone number,referred to us as "people like you", and he said he would speak slow so I could understand him. We were called various other names and insults by Kevin who was not the only one but certainly he was the main one.

I have saved all of these ugly calls by this fool. I am not proud of the fact that we couldn't make the payment on time but it happens to everybody at some point and this behavior from this company is just uncalled for. He would not even give me a chance to explain what was going on instead he screamed at me in the phone so loud I had to hang up. This was not the first time things like this have happened with this company to us. My husband has since found a new job and will make that payment today and the month is not even out yet. One last thing I was told we have to make two payments or they will repo our truck. If anyone knows the laws on this matter please contact me because I think he is just being a jerk.
