So I felt like I needed to post to Rip Off Report being that before I started classes at University of Phoenix. I read the articles on here and then questioned my enrollment advisor about the things I had read. I was told none of it was true. So I believed and got caught in the joy of going back to school. That was July 2011....

Now, I completed my first Semester and started on my second things got a little rough in my personal life and my school slipped. However, I had emailed my instructers asking for assistance I was told by one they would help in anyway possible. One said there was nothing that could be done. At this time I also recieved a call from my academic advisor telling me to email him my grades and he would anyway possible. Well, needless to say I never got a reply back from the instructer or the advisor. Now we come to Jan 2012 it is time to start a new set of classes. They drop me from those. my student LOAN that I was approved for half of the funds are sent back to the loan company at this time the University sends me a bill for $2,450.00. I figured well I need to pay to just be done with them, get my transcript, and get into a different college that cares about your students and returns your phone calls.

Then we come to this week. It has been three weeks since all this was done and, I have already been turned over to a collection agency before I have even had a chance to work on paying what they so I owe. Needless to say it has been a complete nightmare to the point that now I get harrasing phone calls daily. Yesterday, my phone was cold 9 times by this collection agency for the university of phoenix. I am seriously considering a Lawyer at this point. If only I had listened to these reports I could have avoided this horror story.
