In 2005, I heard about University of Phoenix. I was already attending a local community college. However, I heard that "you can graduate in half the time". So i went to the campus in San Diego and talked with a financial advisor. She said that I was 100 covered and to start taking classes right away. So I did. After taking 3 classes @ 1137.00 a popo and signing up for rEsources 2@ 60.00 = 3531.00. I was told that the paper work was not submited properly and that my financial aid was no longer available. I waited as long as i could and faught it until I could scream. They said that there was nothing I could do. So I refinanced my paid off car and paid the suckers there money. I would love to get my money back and file a class action lawsuit.

Financial aid is not a given! You are much better off paying in cash and working your way thru school. Student loans are a wonderful way to stay in debt for thirty years! Thank God this did not go through! You are much better off now, you just do not realize it yet!
