US CASH ADVANCE Roger Smith Called to say I was named in a lawsuit for not paying back a cash advance and could settle over the phone or appear in court. Downingtown, Pennsylvania

A man named Roger Smith (obviously an alias with the heavy middle eastern accent he had...he's about as much a Roger Smith as Osama Bin Laden) called and said I was named in a lawsuit for not paying back a cash advance but I could settle out of court or face appearing in court.  I asked him who he was working for and he said the legal department of US Cash Advance.  I asked him where he was physically located and he said in Pennsylvania.  I have been ripped off and scammed before so I took him through a few questions and told him I have records of everything I've ever done financially and asked him to send me something in the mail on this if it was legitimate (which I knew it wasn't but wanted to push him). 

I asked for his name again telling him I was writing it down and he hesitated but said Roger Smith again.  You could hear in the  background a bunch of other people talking loudly...obviously a "boiler room" type situation probably in some abandoned office building or something...I had called him back on my cell phone because the original call I had missed on my home phone and didn't want him to be able to see it on caller id and make any familiar reference right off the bat.  Once I pressed him for something in writing and started drilling him with questions he said something about me not receiving calls anymore if I wanted and hung up on me.  Funny...he never asked for my address to send anything to??!!  I did a search on whitepages.com for the phone number he gave me and it is an unpublished number showing listed in Downingtown, PA as a landline.  Please beware of anything like this and just never do anything over the phone by prompt from the caller...EVER!
