I joined U.S Credit Management in 2004 and my first payment was drafted in March 2004.
I was never late in any payment to my credit cards or to USCM. I had a little bit high balance on 2 of my Credit Cards and was looking around for a company to lower my interest. I filled out few applications online and USCM called me and explained me how the program works and advertised it really well.
They took my total balance from my Credit Cards for about $12,283.51 and told me that it will cost me $6,755.93 to get done with the entire program in 2 years or so and I will be out of my program and all balance paid off.
They set up $188 dollars to be taken out of my checking account directly.
They made me sign papers saying that there wont be any creditors calling and that they have the power of attorney an will work on my behalf.
Creditor called me basically every day, I always informed the creditor or collection agency that I need a written notice. Since USCM advised me that I should send them everything I get from creditors.
Creditor kept on calling till this year, I told each of them that I am working with a company called USCM and gave them USCM number and address.
Each creditor called me back and informed me that no one answer the phone or returns their calls even after they have left them messages.
(I conformed this to USCM and they said they never received any calls from any creditors or Collection agency.)
When I still insist with USCM that I my self called USCM several time and no one returns or answer my calls, they told me they just got a new telephone systems and that might be the cause of them losing all the voice mail and all the calls.
Bunch of collection agency and creditors told me that I should check about USCM since they don't seem to be fair and legit and might be causing me harm more then anything else.
Creditors and people from court started calling me, coming to my paretns house. I had no other choise but to file for Chaper & BK.
One of the main reason of me filling for bankruptcy was because of U.S Credit Management not make any payments to the creditors or even sending any formal paper work to the creditor or collection agency showing that I am working with USCM to resolve my debt issue.
I got on to the credit management program after having financial issues due to unemployment, family health and other unexpected financial burdens. I got on to U.S credit Management program around March 2004. I made $188 regular payments each month with out any delays, so USCM can pay my creditor and pay off the balance and they failed to make any payment, ending me to file for bankruptcy and be in the mess I am now.
I have talked to FTC and they have advised me to file complain against USCM with Attorney General in Texas and BBB; so FTC can view other complains similar to individual like me so attorney can file a law suit or class law suit against the company.
USCM also have increased my payments around March of 2005 to $221 and they deducted that amount each month on the 22nd from my checking account but still never made a single payment or any kind of settlement with all four creditors which they had on file.
I want U.S Credit management to pay me back each single penny they took out of my checking account and pay for all the damages and suffering I had to go through.
My credit history is now destroyed for 10 years along with any possibility of me getting any security clearance, governmental and federal jobs.
Along with the Graduate school that I was planning on starting on Jan 2006, since I can't be eligible for any student's loans, it's even going to be hard for me to pay for college due to that reason.
I was preventing to get in this situation and USCM made me sign a paper starting that I am in their program to prevent Bankruptcy.
I don't think I would ever been in this situation or ever filed Bankruptcy, if USCM was not negligent in their part of work. Actually I should say they committed a huge scam and fraud and they should be brought to justice.
I got into the program not to avoid paying the creditors. I did best what I can and on time to pay my dues. I shouldn't be held accountable for the mistake and fraud someone else made.
In total they took out $4000 from my checking account and then the Bankrupsy court liquidated my assists, saving and checking account. I had to pay $ 11,300 to the BK.
I lost $15,300 at a time when my dad had a heart attack, mom needed a surgery and me trying to support my old and sick parents and sisters who are in college.
I felt so helpless, and I even told the trustee the situation but it seem like no one gave a s**t. $15,300 was the damage in cash value, not to forget the other stuff like lawyers, telephone bill, stress, fear, and other emotional damages.
It seem like there is no one to help, and these people took advantage of you and left and no one can help not even our government.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
