September 2002 I found that after being involved in the terrorist acts in D.C., Letter Bombs, Anthrax (which I had to take meds to prevent), and continuous threats I couldn't make payments on all the accounts I had. My paycheck had been cut do to reduced business. I contacted US Credit Management, they sent me forms, I filled them out and they claimed I would be debt free in 3 years.

I paid them $880.00 per month to handle this after a year of paying, and only one settlement I became nervous and contacted them about the companies threatening to get judgements. They assured me that would be no problem. I got a summons to show up for hearing on one $5,000 account. They told me the only thing they could do was place a lein on my house ... and that would be no problem, they would settle that. Then I had another with Discover for $7,500, and called them again ... they assured me again that they were dealing with them, and it would be settled. It never was, and there were 3 liens placed on my home because of them.

In December of 2005 a woman called me and told me they were operating without a license, and to be careful. I asked why she had called me, and she said she had just been terminated. I then went to my bank and stopped the automatic withdrawls from my check account, while I got in touch with them. They assured me they were up and okay, and my accounts would soon be settled. They called in their legal person to explain to me how this would be handled. In February 2006 I got a letter of the bankruptcy filing.

They took all of the money I paid them for 3 years ... 36 months times the $880 ... minus approximately $4,500 they settled. They kept telling me all along I didn't have enough equity in the program yet to settle accounts, and they were holding out for more money, and less payoff.

They ripped me off, I am a widow, had to refinance my home at a high rate of interest due to the negative credit report and liens on my house to keep from losing it. Now I am in serious trouble, all because of them, or I would be out of debt as they promised.
