US Direct Express Beware of International Blocks Internet

I buy from a firm from Canada. And was using my Net Spend card which was pay loaded debit  and funds sent to Canada. I then decided to use my US Direct Express card to pay for my Canadian order. The firm told me there was an international block place on my card. They told me to call US Direct Express and have the block lifted. I called US Direct Express after trying whatever phone numbers I could find. I even call the Veteran's number and the fellow told me that the number was on the back of my card. I told him all that I could get with that number was the balance of my account which the whole proses was automated. He told me to call another number for new accounts and someone there could direct me. The customer service was the worst I dealt with in a long time. I told them there was an international  block placed on my card and I wanted it lifted. The gal I talked with said no there is not block. I asked her if they do international blocking and what are the countries? That blew her mind down went the receiver.I called Canada just to see if it was lifted which of course it wasn't. I called Net Spend and asked them if they blocked countries? They did and the gal who was so nice, she gave me a list of the countries over the phone. Canada of course wasn't one of them. The ones blocked were troubled countries that I would have no desire to visit. Like Syria, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, Albania, Ivory Cost.  So make sure if you travel  or order anything on the internet to our industrial countries around the world US Direct Express will not be blocking them. Or maybe someone is running scared at the government level on this debit card US Direct Express. With so many Baby Boomer's who are really Computer Literate  and globe shop for there meds along with other items. It isn't that hard to switch to another debit card. lol
