US Mortgage Funding Inc. Needed help with my mortgage to avoid foreclosure-instead took my $2,000 & the company folded... Boca Raton, Florida

I contacted US Mortgage Funding Inc. in regard to refinancing my mortgage with the foreclosure plan through President Obama. Due to credit card debt, insufficient wages due to the economy, and my elderly mother's illness I was behind in my mortgage payments. I looked over US Mortgage Funding Inc which was recommended by the BBB and CNBC and contacted USMF about a mortgage refinance.

They said I definitely qualified (I do NOT-my mortgage is not backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac) and I was to pay $2,000.00 for the application fee which I did. While getting the information together I had to send paperwork to them in June 2010 but when I called for an address, the phone was never picked up and the mailbox for leaving messages was full. Then I went online and saw that they were a fraud (on Rip Off) and they defrauded many people. Now I understand they are completely out of business.

If a Class Action suit is brought up against USMF or any of its officers, I want to be a part of it.

Profitting from people who are in debt and being taken advantage of is an act of fraud and negligence of itself.
