US Mortgage Funding Inc. Us Mortgage Funding I g ave them $1500.00 to modify my home loan and now the company is now out of business without doing anything. My home is in foreclosure proceedings. Boca Raton, Florida

Donna Vitale, who was employed by US Mortgage Funding, Inc. contacted me and  promised/guaranteed to modify my home loan by "at least" $500.00 each monthly payment.

Ms. Vitale stated that it would cost me $1500.00 for US Mortgage Funding to modify my loan.  A $1500.00 electronic check was sent to them (by me).  Immediately following this, the company sent various documents for me to fill out and send back.

Once I sent the documents back, another employee, Laura Mantey, called me back and state they would be in touch "in the next few weeks" once their company modified my loan from $1800.00 to $1300.00.

After five (5) weeks of not hearing anything from Us Mortgage Funding, I tried to contact them.  All phone numbers and email addresses that were provided to me are no longer in service. In addition, their website is no longer available. This company made no attempt to modify my home loan and now I'm so far behind on my home (more than $36,000) that at this point, I'm not sure I can save my home.

Although, I make a decent income, I am still a mother of two small children with no financial support by their father.  I really do not know what will happen if I do lose my home as I have no family support (they are all deceased) and have no place to go.
