I am an 18 year old, who needed to buid credit in order to get a loan for school. I got an e-mail that said I was pre-approved for a $7,500 credit line. I went to the site, to see what I could learn, but I had a hard time understanding the contract. I understood it as i would be getting a mastercard with a high limit.

I decided $150 wasnt a bad price for getting a card, because i had never had one up to that point. I did the online application and sent them my debit information (I had just got my first debit card the day before) and waited for my new credit card to arrive.

When it did come i noticed that it wasnt like my moms card... it had no experation date or anything... just my name and account info. I tried using it at a local resturaunt, and found out that i couldnt use it at all.

When i got home i called the company, to try and get my money back. I told them that the card wasnt what i expected, and that i was expecting a different card. The woman i talked to said that I had to go to the web site, and at least check out the site, before giving up my card. I told her that i didnt want the card, just my money back, and she went into this long speech about how my $150 was used.

According to her, my fee was used to process my information because the company doesnt do credit checks. The coupon that was sent (for $150) was to be used toward my first purchase, as long as it was withen the first three months, so i was actually getting my money back. I told her once more that i wanted my money back, and she said that there wasnt anything i could do. I wrote the company, but never heard anything back from them.

Im sure that i cant get my money back, because its been three months. I just found this site today, and it has helped me to feel better about what happened. If there is a case brought up against the company, I would be glad to be a part of it. That $150 could have helped me pay for my surgury, but now id love to use it against the people who sent my perfectly useless card.
