So, I fully admit my culpability in this scam. Because I admitted to myself and others what I had done I was able to get out of the situation unscathed and with all my dinero. Here is my story.

Once again this all took place out of greed. I googled free 24hr fitness membership and found that I could receive on from Internetopinionsgroup.com, all I had to do was fill out a few simple survey, right? Yeah, riiight... everytime I was "almost finished! A new window popped up letting me know I only need 2 more surveys, or 3 more surveys to get my free membership. So after about an hour I'm thinking OK, I'll just fill out this one credit card application and I'll (hopefully) get my free 24 hr fitness membership. I niether want nor need a new card. I just assumed I would apply , be approved , then NEVER use this card agian. Well, honestly I DID NOT READ THE FINE PRINT. I don't know what it said to this day. I do know that after I entered all my bank information (like a moron) I was informed of the $159.00 fee. As any reasonable human would, I freaked out immediatly. I retraced my steps and found an e-mail addy. I informed them in an e-mail that I didn't want my card charged. I was sent back another e-mail stating that another department would have to cancel my membership and I was supplied with this number. I probably called about 6 times before I got through. The person I talked to was not rude, they did try to persuade me to stay with company and told me my money would be reimbursed through a certificate I wouold recieve with my package. This phone call stretched to about 20 minutes with most of that time being dedicated thier sales pitch and not the cancellation I was calling for. Hey, this individual was simply doing her job. I also called my bank and told them what I had just done and they advised me to stop payment on the charge.

Thank GOD, I charged it to an inactive account. I thought they wanted the info on my bank for information purposes. I should have never ever given that info so freely. I canceled my account within 24hrs of realizing exactly what I had done. If you realize that you have done this or something like this take action fast! Don't wait 30 or 60 days! AND ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT...It's small cause so you will ignore it.
