history of me & my fire claim

bare essential background

I have not been paid/reimbursed for a fire claim that I made in October 2015

I am being forced to live without "essential" living items while I am being forced to jump through hoop after hoop & still have not being compensated for my fire loss.

USAA is all about money & nothing about the serving the honorable military personnel that have dedicated their lives to this great country.

I have had it. Someone needs to stand up for what is right & expose USAA for what it is.

I am offering a tell all, share all details of USAAs horrible treatment of its honorable military service personnel.

USAA "quality".... is completely lacking in taking care of its military personnel

What someone has to look forward to if they pay USAA for their services

Long story longer of how fraudulent USAA really is....

they denied homeowners coverage on a 100% fire loss claim AFTER they took payment for home owners insurance. Claiming they never saw the house before the fire so, they were not going to insure it.

Meanwhile, I had two other houses insured with them & they never "saw" them. USAA had no problem accepting payments for five years on the one house & accepting payments for two years on the other house.

USAA denied the fire loss coverage of the house itself but, USAA being the great company they are, said they would pay for my belongings that were lost in the fire.

Nope, that was October of 2015 & they still haven't paid for my belongings.

After the fire, I was living in neighbor's a camping trailer while I was paying, out of pocket, to have the fire damage my home dealt with. I lived in the neighbor's camping trailer for two months.

USAA never sent anyone to offer any assistance.

Additionally, I was paying USAA insurance on my other two properties & still paying USAA automobile insurance.

I lived in my neighbors camping trailer for two months. In December of 2015, I was able to move into my shell of my burned home.

I continued to pay out of pocket to make my home livable. USAA still never offered any monetary assistance or any assistance at all.

I only had the burnt out house so, I didn't have the other house insurance payments. However, I still paid my USAA automobile insurance.

My terrible luck continued.

February of 2016, I am in an horrific automobile accident a few miles from home.

I had been volunteering with a local lady to review her medical records & help prepare her medical disability claim.

It was Sunday evening around 5-6 pm. I had just worked on her medical claim for a few hours & then, I was returning home.

Her mother's house was 6.3 miles from my home.

USAA still had not paid for my belongings that were destroyed in the fire.

I was living the best that I could. I was making my USAA payments out of my military disability monthly checks. I was living like no one should have to live. I was paying my bills & living the best I could.

I am single. I have never had an alcohol or drug problem. I couldn't believe that I was being forced to live this way. But, I did.

I had no family in town. I had no choice. I wasn't giving up. I was just doing everything that I could every day to get by. I knew it was temporary. I knew USAA said they would reimburse me for my fire damaged belongings. Any day, the reimbursement money would come. I would be much better off.

I still knew that USAA was cheating me for not covering the house itself which was a total loss because of the fire. I knew it was a fraudulent deal but, it was what it was.

Probably a few bad apples working for a good company...... at least was my thought at the time.

Anyways, that day in February of 2016, I decided to return home another way. It was unfamiliar way. Then, I was hit broadside by an oncoming truck. I was not expected to live but, I did.

I spent 2 1/2 months in a coma. Then one day I awoke at the hospital. I walked out to the nurses station & they couldn't believe it. I stayed a few more weeks in the hospital for tests, IQ tests, etc. Then I was discharged.

My USAA fire claim was the least of my worries so, I put it off.

However, USAA has continued to rake me over the coals. They claimed I did not have car insurance. They haven't paid my medical bills.

The hospital in Michigan has filed a lawsuit against USAA for my medical bills.

I have had such a terrible time that I literally moved out of state.

I have nothing. However, USAA has continued onward to show its true colors. It is not a few bad apples working there. USAA as a whole, is fraudulent.

I believe, at any point, they could have/should have redeemed themselves but, they chose not to.

I have nothing. I will probably be living with nothing but, I am a good person. I don't want anyone else to ever experience what I did. What I experienced over the last year or so, I refer to as my "Hell year".

Excuse my language but, honestly I am sure your language would be quite verbose & quite "colorful" if you had my "Hell year".

"Drama" is an understatement. My life this last year has the content of a blockbuster movie. Honestly, I haven't even told you my "expanded" my Hell year. I have only texted a synopsis.

USAA, needs to be held accountable, for its business & its serious lack of business ethics.

Bad luck, sometimes is unavoidable but, choices are not.

USAA has choose to put me in this position that I feel I must expose them for the frauds they are.

I have had bad luck & I made choices. But, I will not choose to ignore USAAs choice not to help me.

I choose to let others know what was done to me & that they should know that even if they pay their bills & hire a "reputable" company they might end up with nothing like me.

Honorable, 100% disabled, female service member living disability check to disability check & still have nothing.

Yep, I will completely tell all so, others will be fully aware. That they should research a company before payiing their bill.

I believe that legal channels need to explore USAA unscrupulous business practices.

I refuse to allow anyone else be victimized.
