What you received was a SPAM "phishing" email.  USAA has nothing to do with this, it could have been any banks name.  The scammers hope that out of the million e-mails that they send they get 1 person to fall for the scam and divulge their personal financial information.  The best thing to do is trash the e-mail and never click on any of the links.

If you happen to get one that does appear to be from your bank, still DO NOT click on the link.  Instead contact them by phone at the phone number YOU know is theirs as anything in the e-mail is probably fake and would direct you to the scammers.
