This company purports to be one for those who serve. However they treat their "members" like idiots and brainwash people into thinking they are better than other companies when they are the ones stealing from their members.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

"We know what it’s like to serve”. For two years I fought with USAA over a homeowners insurance claim. Backstory for you. I was buying a home, found some issues I wanted seller to repair. One big issue was the waste water line from bathroom sink and bathtub was not connected to city waste line, but drained into driveway. Seller agreed to repair in amendment to buyer/seller contract. Didn’t do repair, but instead buried it underneath the house and stuffed it into the old broken cast iron line that was no longer in use. Unknown to me that for 3 years water was draining under my home, I found out when one morning I get up and see my floors bowed up as if they were a blossoming flower. So I started looking into everything I could think of that would cause this. Last thing to do was remove trim around base of home and instantly was swarmed by mosquitos flying out and see and feel swamp like climate under my home only to see this piece of work lied on contract to me. I can afford a lawyer. So I file a claim. Approved for a tenth of cost of repair by USAA. I ask what to do from there. My claims representative told me to send in estimates of repairs. I do.
A few months go by, I thought I’d check on status of next step. I figured the process was long seeing how I couldn’t live in my house while repairs are done, but it was kind of excessive without hearing back from them. My rep tells me they called me and denied it. Then trying to put it on me for waiting so long to contact them. I said did you call twice, leave a message, email me, Usps mail me denial. Now they open it back up and drag it out to deny me again because they don’t cover what they covered in the first place. They have been gradually getting worse and worse while rates continue to rise. I would never recommend these people to any military member. I can explain more clearly the full details if you’d like me to. I have no problem giving out my phone number to do so. My new auto insurance, Home insurance and banking company provides me better coverage at lower cost and not getting higher the longer I’m loyal
