USBI - One Call Comm ripoff fraudulent phone charges Internet

I received charges on my phone bill from USBI on behalf of One Call Comm on my local Bell South phone bill. I am apparently one of the lucky ones as my fradulent charges only totaled $10.31. I called the number listed for billing questions and was told that the call was probably made by a child in my home (however I have no children in my home). They then tried to convince me that my computer made this call (yeah, my computer can really make calls all on its own to a number that I have never heard of).

This call was made at a time when both my husband and I were at work and our computer was turned off. The person I spoke with offered to put my number on their block list, however since I had already read several rip off reports about this company, I decided to take this one step further and contact my local phone company (Bellsouth).

The person I spoke with at Bellsouth (sorry didn't catch his name) was very helpful in resolving this issue. He set up a block against third party billing to my number and he reversed the charges for me.

I am also planning on filing a complaint about this company to the FTC, the Better Business Burea and any other agency I think will be helpful. I hope that every person who gets ripped off byt this company takes these steps - hopefully with enough complaints something will be done to stop them.
