In Jan 2005 Vanderbilt bought our mortgage from Chase Manhattan. We were notified at the end of January. At that time I was told that I wasn't making the correct payment. They were trying to change my FIXED loan. If I tried to speak to anyone they would say that my name was not on the loan only my husbands. They also said I didn't have insurance and were trying to charge us for that.

They started calling our home up to 10 times a day, also calling my husbands work and demanding from the office secreatry that she give Rudy the number to Human Resources. We sent a cease and decist to no longer call us.I also requested several times written and verbally to have a new customer rep on our account that Rudy was just to rude. He even told my husband that I didn't know how to listen! That did no good. When ever I would try to call they would automatically transfer me to Rudy.

First my insurance agent sent them proof of my coverage 32 times in the month of Feb.It was not untill June that they corrected the problem.

In June the sent me a check from them for my last 3 payments refusing them after they had processed my checks, and said they would be foreclosing on our home. We then saw a lawyer. Our lawyer sent them a letter then that warded them off for a week.

Next they sent us a notice that we now needed a escrow account. Why after all these years would we need one? We paid our own insurance and taxes.

Recently when I tried to call to get our payoff amount to get away from them they acted like they could not and would not release that information to me. It's my payoff!

This last year any information I requested from them I've had no response to. Not 1 statement, would not fix my payment coupon book. It said to send my payments to Ohio, since they went there they were considered late. They want them sent to Alabama. Where are these people exactly????

As of last Friday my home is paid for now we just have to wait for Vanderbilt to send us the final paperwork. Luckily we have a VERY GOOD LAWYER. This company needs to be run out of business. If you have a choice as to whom to do business with DON"T choose Vanderbilt!!!
