#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
New Owner TRANSFORCE is old school
AUTHOR: GretaS - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, February 13, 2013
Transforce makes $100 million dollars a month the old fashion way. Workers are rewarded with good pay and benefits to insure a stable workforce of highly skilled drivers. They purchased Velocity Express in January 2013 to enlarge their United States network. In Canada they offer same day coast-coast deliveries. Now they will be able to have same-day service throughout Canada and the United States. Transforce owns a variety of companies specializing in different aspects of the transportation industry. They intend to fulfill the expected 350,000 qualified driver shortage nationwide (US) in 2017.
Demand for skilled transportation industry employees will be even greater as the years progress. Companies that have unethical wages, poor or no benefits, and poor accounting will have unreliable unskilled discontented drivers. They will go out of business and their services deemed undesirable. Transforce maintains a network of reliable qualified workers that are long term employees because of good wages and increased benefits. This results in error free delivery operations with perfect electronic tracking.
Clients of Transforce genuinely insures that documents, commodities, and other needs are done by skilled seasoned employees that do not make mistakes. Customers of the transportation industry no longer want unreliable unskilled drivers for cheaper rates. A dysfunctional delivery system disrupts a customer's business and evokes extreme dissatisfaction from their own clients. Velocity Express was the poorest corporate Stock Market performer of the last decade. They lost $450,000,000 between 1999 and 2002.
They continued a downward spiral by losing hundreds millions of dollars through 17 reverse stock manipulations until they went bankrupt in 2009. They paid their largest creditor by giving them 80% ownership. They retained management control and lost more money in the history of Velocity Express. They were once sued by 50,000 drivers for massive payroll errors. Liability in the Courts was avoided by replacing administrators who each left with 3/4 of million dollars severance pay.
Transforce is now restructuring Velocity Express during the next 18 months with proper training programs, valid business contracts without loopholes, good wages and benefits, ethical management, honest accounting, and excellent employee morale. It seemed like Velocity Express and the many other corporate slave operations had destroyed the original courier Code of Ethics. TransForce fast growing expansion and high profits are due to a return to old school ethics in business operations that benefit clients, employees, investors, and return faith within the delivery transportation industry.
