Verizon Online DSL, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Verizon online is a big fraud, riff off company Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I used verizon dsl online couple years ago since they first started out dsl service. The speed was not even close to half of what i was promised but it was acceptable for me. Until July 2007, I lost dsl connection.

Called them, and spent hours on the phone waiting/ talking to tech support but they couldn't fix it. Then they send some one down my house to check and it was reported that the modem was broken.

I had to call them again to get them sent me the new modem. I was thrown back and forth from tech support to billing and back to tech support and back to billing in order just to ask for a new modem. I was promised that they will ship out the new modem to me and i should receive it within 3-5 days.

After 2 weeks, i didn't receive it and call them. They said that it was already sent out 2 weeks ago. After couple more calls later, i was promised again that they would send out the second one and i should receive it within 3-5 days.

Again, after another 2 weeks, i still didn't receive any of them. I got pissed off , switched to Comcast and called to cancel Verizon DSL. The guy i talked to when i called to cancel pulled up MY RECORD and told me that, in fact, the 2 modems never were sent out. Anyway, he canceled my Verizon DSL for me on the end of August 2007.

On April 2008, i figured out that Verizon still charged me every month for the dsl service that i canceled 8 months ago. I called to asked and was thrown from one department to another multiple times. They said it was never canceled and they DID NOT HAVE ANY RECORD OR NOTE ON MY ACCOUNT. WTF ? So they canceled my account again but refused to reimburse me the money that they stole from me. The customer services don't give a about the consumers. Even the supervisor was very unprofessional and rude. This month Verizon charges me again for DSL service.

I already reported them to Better Business Bureau.

One advice for you guys, Stay away from Verizon. They are frauds, liars.
