I never signed up with volunteer Energy services I have been with columbia gas and may have to pay fees to get out of service

Normally they cannot transfer services without CONSENT and PERSONAL INFORMATION!!! Did you give either? I only ask because it is VERY COMMON for prople to get a unsolicited call for a change in service. Then when they get the first bill its considered a "ripoff" and the consumer will LIE and SAY it was unapproved. Just saying that IF a recorded call surfaced where you DID tell them to switch YOU over to thier services would YOU have the same story. Are YOU sure this isnt one of those instances?
