Volunteer energy has decided to raise michigan residents rates nearly 300% higher than the utility company and they are getting away with it.  When I contacted Shawn Hall of volunteer energy, he stated that they were I'll prepared for this winter and to stick with them.  My bill doubled once again the following month and he has since not returned my calls.  Do not trust them! They are screwing people and taking advantage of people not understanding gas rates and getting paperless billing.  I signed up nearly 1000 customers myself for them and I feel awful.  They didn't honor the rates I gave people and it's just wrong.  I hope the Lions and Red wings drop their contracts with them and sue them into bankruptcy.  Thanks for reading
