VPI PET INSURANCE paid 42% of my claim for pet insurance ripoff BREA California

OK, here's my situation;
1 I made a claim for $2,576.19. Of which Nutritional Supplements $80.06 and Tax of $11.13 are denied. (OK that's fair enough)
2. We also have a deductible of $50. This leaves a claim of $2,435.
3. They paid us 90% of the amount they felt was valid, which came to $1,028.12.

So we have their best policy, called the Superior Plan. And they paid us $1,028.12 of a claim of $2,435, or 42.2% of our claim.

They told me to read the small print. They said that although everything was a valid claim and although I was using their best policy (SUPERIOR) that they limited the amounts they paid. Their insurance is therefore only partial insurance (based on above) and it's not very "Superior".
