Wachovia Mortgage F.D.C.P.A. Violations harassment intimidation Jacksonville Florida

I was a former employee at Wachovia Mortgage and I am filing this report to raise awareness of the abuse they require their employees to cause by phone for mortgage holders. As a collector I was required to be on an automatic dialer system which would call people up 7+ times a day within a 8 hour period at home, work, or their cell. They call if you are not late as a "courtesy", which is really a way of attaining a immediate speed pay to reach their monthly goal. I was terminated due to refusal to make calls when requested by a team leader. I refused to call on a particular account where a 75 year old woman who was never late received 6 calls in a 4 hour period on a Sunday. If Wachovia mortgage calls you and will not stop type a cease and desist letter and send it to them. If they continue to call after that file a complaint with the FTC, BBB and Attorney General of your respective state. I have done so and I am ashamed of my actions. If you were a customer I called I apologize on behalf of myself. I will no longer be in collections after 6 years. David Akins is the team leader for the Jacksonville Team. Michelle Dungee-Brown is the operations manager for the site. Roger Wright is the team leader who confronted me. Do not allow them to bully you into making a payment. You have rights as a consumer regardless if they gave you the money for your home. They hold it above your head and it is wrong!
