In early 2014 I sent a Tag watch to Jeff Herman at watchrepair.net. The watch was running fast. Jeff sent a case to send the watch to his premises plus instructions etc.
He rang to say he would need to install a new spring etc. I said yes. In total he took in excess of $500 from me.
When I received the watch back it was no different than before.
I emailed politely twice - no answer.
I rang and got through, asked what was goin on. "Yes, but doesn't it look great?!" was teh slightly angry answer.
He promised to send a new kit to return the watch. Nothing came.
I finally rang and said I wanted my money back, and would file reports on consumer websites if he declined to do so. I told him I was no longer confident in his services. He sent a new kit but didn't return the money.
I now have the watch serviced by TAG - no problems.
I have still received no refund (3 months later)
