I failed to read ripoffreport.com before signing up for this website, a mistake that I will NEVER make again. I signed up and was charged $89.00, something that I didn't agree to but I wanted a netbook and I thought that since I was dumb enough to get caught by the old "spending money with no confirmation screen" trick that I might at least try to get a netbook out of the deal. I bid on one early and got the price of the bids taken off of my total price, picked my prize and paid for it. I thought that I was going to be getting my product soon because nowhere on the site did it say backordered, or crappy management skills, or fraudulent company. It also didn't say that they were going to charge me a foreign transaction fee since I live in Nebraska and they are based in Georgia. Apparently "Georgia" is just a cover for some other location.

They charged my credit card instantly which I thought was neat because that meant they were going to ship the product immediately too, right? Negative. My order was processing for about 2 weeks and then it gave me a estimated ship date of June, 22. No way was I going to pay interest on an item that I didn't even own yet so I asked politely whether the June date was a mistake. They gave me a canned statement about how their company has grown so much that they can't keep up with the demands and that they will work as fast as they can.

I decided that I didn't like that answer so I demanded a refund. They gave another canned statement about how they were processing my refund. I started to get uneasy about the whole situation so I contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. I emailed again saying that I had gotten the BBB involved and asked if that might speed up their refund process. I had a new reply saying that refunds take up to 30 days to process but that 14 days was more of a norm. I was satisfied and waited the 14 days. Sadly, I didn't get a refund as promised, just more canned statements.

I looked for a number to them so that I could call in and complain but no phone number for them woks. The only way to contact is via their email system. I then tried to find their phone number elsewhere and stumbled upon this website. The phone numbers listed no longer work, they just tell you to email them, and I'm afraid that I will never see my money again. I will continue to email them daily to see if my pestering elicits a response of some kind and maybe the BBB will help. I will post updates as I get them and would welcome any additional advice anyone has about actually getting a refund from these scammers.
