I have been with Wells Fargo for 7 years and they are nothing but scam artist and Rip Offs.

Tuesday night November 21, 2012 my truck we repoed. I didnt undetstand since I just Paid this payment on October 22, 2012 through money gram. (same way each month since I have had this loan)

While I called Wells Fargo on October 22, 2012 to verify I was sending this payment and what the account number was. I am in a long line with 2 kids at Walmart The customer service rep has me verify social since there are 2 accounts on my name, as always I have to veriy what vechile I am calling about.

As always i stated 2005 dodge dakota. An account number was given to me I filled out the paper work and my  payment of $616.00 was successful.

Now less then a month later my truck was repoed. I called Money gram and they verified that a payment was received successful to wells fargo however, the wrong account number was on the paper work. That was not my error since i called and wells fargo makes you specify which account (vechile) you are callin in reference too.

So the payment was received just applied to the wrong car. Also, because the payment for the other car which wasnt even discussed about wasnt received they automatically applied my payment to this account.

After a day worth of phone calls to Wells Fargo and speaking with Joyce in the bankruptcy department I was able to have the payment reversed onto my vechile which made it current, However now I was told that I was responsibile to pay towing fees to Wells Fargo for $385.00 For what? this was an error on behalf of them.

I did everything I was suppose to do, now they are making out with $385.00 for nothing just because they can? thats more then a payment for a month for me. I am unemployed and doing  the best I can to pay my truck and now I have to pay Wells Fargo to repo my truck just becasue they can rip people off because they know we need our vechiles.

I also, had to pay the towing compan their fees. This costed me $460.00 total I had to borroww from my grandmother or i would have lost my truck when in fact I am going to own it in May which I can already feel will be an issue found.

I dont think this is fair to me as the consumer, This payment should be applied to my vechile since they took it anyways it goes to them or maybe it goes in someones pocket I dont know. It just not right,

I was something Done...

How it paid?

AUTHOR: Ray - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 27, 2012

Why did you used money gram?

Never, never pay by money gram or western union gram. Alway pay at the bank or mail to banking address, with loan coupon from loan book. Coupon book will alway have account number for that vehicle.

Therefore it was your mistake for using money gram instead of using loan coupon payment to the bank.

ALWAY USE LOAN COUPON FOR MAKING PAYMENT.  NO EXCEPTION.

Responsibility...

There may have been errors on their part,  but there was also errors on your part where you need to take responsibility for your actions.

You appear to have been at least 2 payments behind, you know you have 2 accounts, you say you always have to call to get the account.  So why did you wait until you were in line at Walmart with 2 kids to call and get the account number?

Since you have been with them for 7 years, you should have at least a few statements showing the account number.  Even if you don't you should have something from the previous time you got the information.  Afraid of someone stealing your info?  Then a simple piece of paper in your wallet with just the number and something like "2005" so you know it is for the 2005 Dakota.  If anyone got that number they would have no idea what it was to.

Now less then a month later my truck was repoed.
- Being a bit dramatic aren't you?  You made the payment on October 22nd and it was repossessed on the night of the 21st of November.  So yes technically because there are 31 days in October it wasn't a full calender month, but it was only short by a few hours.

I did everything I was suppose to do
- Well not exactly.  You were supposed to make ALL of your payments for the full amount and On-Time.  You were behind in your payments and didn't take the responsibility to keep track of your own account information, and unfortunately I doubt there was anything in your loan agreement that said that you can be late if you became unemployed.

I dont think this is fair to me as the consumer,

- Remember this..you were already 2 payments behind when you made the payment.  There is no law that says they have to wait a certain amount of time before they can reposes your vehicle.  So they could have repossessed the vehicle as soon as you went delinquent on the 1st payment.
