Werner Ladder The hinge on my ladder PN 50430-02 broke while I was painting and I fell about 3 foot crashing on my left side, leg and back. I'm going to try to have an xray done today. I can't bear weight on left leg. Greenville Pennsylvania

I was using my ladder to paint my ceiling two days ago, when the hinge on it broke. It didn't break at the rivet point, it broke on the smooth surface area of the hinge.

It caused me to fall back and to my left. It flipped the paint over onto the middle of the bed when it collapsed  

It took me about 10 minutes to be able to try to get up because my left leg was hurting so bad. I still am having trouble bearing weight on the left leg and my back is still hurting.  Going to try to get an xray today.

I have pictures of where the ladder broke and still have the ladder. The only numbers I saw on the ladder were PN50430-02. I believe it was a standard 5 or 6 foot ladder with a foldiing out paint tray.
