I just received a letter from this company stating that I owe them money from an account previously held by Capital Acquisitions & Management and that the original debt was from Chemical Bank.

I do not owe money to Chemical Bank or anyone by the name of Capital Acquisitions & Management. I did have a Visa card with Chemical bank some 15 or so years ago but I certainly did not owe them money and I believe they merged with another bank years ago. I believe I am being ripped-off.
