Whitewing Financial Group, Inc. Accused without documentation or proof that a $4479, 12 year old debt is owed. Houston Texas

9-11-03 a message was left on my answering machine with a phone number, extension, and case number. Upon calling this number I spoke with a Takee Davis who accused my husband of ditching a 12 year old debt worth $2363 which he said was charged off in January of 1991. He went on to say that all these years have gone by and the debt is now worth $4479. He offered me a chance to pay this off at $2500 and promised the debt would eliminate the likelihood of its occurrence on his credit report.

I proceeded to tell Mr. Davis that this is a debt that has NEVER been on my husband's credit report, that this debt is false, and I wasn't paying a dime!! I accused him and his company of charging my husband with a bogus claim and I demanded the name, address, phone number, and account number of this supposed vendor whom my husband owed. About this time he patched me through to his "manager", Mr. Ali who raised his voice in protest that I would dare insult his company and accuse them of being fraudulent and false. Well d**n right I was accusing!!

I told Mr. Ali that unless he could prove with documentation and signature that my husband did indeed incur this debt, this debt WAS NOT going to be paid, period! He told me he'd send an Affidavit and Assignment proving his stance to "8514 Forest". I told him I'd never heard of that address before. He said, "ok, we'll send it to this other address then."

I told him upon review and INVESTIGATION of his company, he'd be hearing back from us regading this BOGUS claim.
