Be wary of the current Blockbuster Video promotion who has teamed up with Wireless Retail and AT&T Wireless in my area. I talked with a slick telemarketer from Wireless retail who explained the current Blockbuster Video promotion. They offer many plans but I opted for the 300 min/month plan for $29.95.

Sounded good but I wanted to think about the 200 minutes/month I was being offered by AT@T. No problem the agent said we will give you 300 minutes a month..with that I agreed, got my Wireless retail invoice and indeed it said 300 minutes a month.

I received my AT&T bill shortly after and they indicated I only get 200 minutes a month and I was billed for the minutes over..total bill was $65. Called AT&T and they said it's Wireless Retail.

Called my original salesperson 5 times to get this addressed no call back. Then I asked for a manager who promised to get back with me.. no return call.. then I talked to customer service who said they will take care of it for sure the next day. No call back. This went on for about a week and tied me up on the phone for about 4 hours playing ring around the rosy.

Then I got pissed and sent them a nasty e-mail.. got a call from someone who made my wife feel like SHE had done something wrong.. they agreed to a few credits, nothing permananet and explained sorry that was really not a 300 min promotion it's only 200 minutes.. AT&T gave us bad info.. It has happened to many people she said. Funny you can go to the AT&T website bypass Wireless retail and get 300 minutes for $29.95

I work for Wireless Retail, not in blockbluster but another location. I would just like to say that you can receive 300 minutes for 29.99 a month on a LOCAL PLAN. 200 minutes is available on a NATIONAL PLAN. If you don't travel very often, the 300 minute plan would work great for you and it is available at any time. If you would look at the brochure it say in very big letters at the top whether it is nationwide or local and there is a picture. Yes, it is offered on the AT&T website and through our company as well.
