On January 22, 2012 I was notified via email that my military boyfriend had purchased an online gift certificate for me from Wizard Wood Wands for the amount $50, for my upcoming birthday on the 29th. On March 5, 2012 I received a response from the website in question, answering a question I had about custom wand design. Three days later on the eighth, I received a confirmation email about my custom wand order, with the approval email arriving in my inbox two days later, on the tenth:
Account: 910485
Invoice: 985835
I waited the 6-8 weeks that the website said it would probably take to craft and send out the finished product. I began emailing the addresses provided on the website (after never receiving my wand) under different subject lines, knowing from the site that my emails might get filtered and never viewed, beginning May 15, 2012. The first email that was never answered was actually sent on March 10, a question of whether or not I sent my scanned image of my desired custom wand handle sketch to the right address, which received no reply. I sent emails regarding the status of my wand on the following dates, all never responded to: 5/6 , 5/15, 5/20 , 5/25.
I sent a letter to the address provided in my confirmation email on June 9, 2012 asking about the status of my wand. I provided a screen shot image of the confirmation email information, along with an image of the handle sketch I had sent back in March. Today, June 28, 2012, I got my letter returned, a yellow label on the envelope saying it wasn't deliverable as addressed, and "unable to forward."
What frustrates me was that this was a birthday gift from my boyfriend, who is away in the military. I'm usually unmoveable on him getting me presents, no matter what the occasion, but I consented to him buying me the certificate for a custom wand. The last thing I want to tell him is that he got money stolen from him by a fraudulent site.

I found out through a note on the site that the wait is now 2-3 months for a finished product. Although I would have appreciated a return email about the fact that the wait was going to be longer. I understand the wandmaker's perspective.
What still puzzles me, is why my letter was returned.
