Wolpoff & Abramson ripoffs of the little guy to get rich Novi Michigan

I had a bill from First USA and couldn't pay it
so we talked to them and we charged off. We had some problems and money was tight. It took a little while longer but we sent them the money.
The bill we had does not have a date when to have it sent by. We sent $295.53 to the Northland Group (another collection group).

We though it was taken care of as of 10-19-04.
2006 we started getting phone calls from Wolpoff & Abramson (W&A)at least 16 a day. We finally got to talk to a person and he said that if we did not pay (now it is over a $1000.00)they would get a judgement and they would take my state tax. We told this man that we have a cancelled check and the bill does not have a date by on it he said he would hold off with the judgement until he sees our proof.

While I was sending them the proof they went to court and got a judgement against me. I did not even get a letter to appear. I put a suit against them and even with proof of payment and never recieved a letter to appear the judge would not even listen to me because I
am not a lawyer. I thought the legal system was for the people I guess I was wrong and it is for judges and lawyers to give them something to do.

Can anyone out there help me I am still having money problems and cannot afford someone to represent and I cannot let them get away with ripping the United States off.
