Wyndham Resorts Especially the group selling in Shawnee-At-Delaware Rude and pushy, so bad that we got up and walked out Shawnee-On-Delaware, Pennsylvania

We own two different timeshare units now owned by Wyndham Resorts. When we purchased Wyndham did not own the resort. We gave in agreeing to a tour this last Oct 2009. The first guy was friendly naturally trying to answer our questions. We only wanted to see the new units and explained at the get go we were not in the market for anything in the Poconos but wanted to understand what our two units might count towards with their points system.

After 2 hours the closer guy comes to our table. Within 4 minutes this snot began attempting to use guilt or pressure tactics to get us to buy into the points system without any full explanation of how their points system actually works. My husband is a retired high level criminal investigator so very quickly told this closer guy the conversation was over and a waste of our time with our not learning anything that might be a benefit to us with our travel schedule! I told the nicer first salesperson they could have sold something if we saw that it was anything to our benefit. We didn't need the stupid free dinner cash certificate. WE just wanted to see the new units under construction and learn how their points system was set up. The closer guy totally turned my husband off so much that he won't consider investing in any Wyndham again.

Now, to say one thing good I can report that at least in DePuy Village up in the Poconos, a Wyndham Resorts property, they are doing an excellent job in management. We love our two units especially the October unit. The units in DePuy Village are large, clean, with nice porches.
