Wyndham Vacation Resorts Scam and they are Rude & don't Care that you are unhappy with them Margate Florida

Well unfortunately I purchased a Wyndham Vacation for my family and spent $79 for the hotel, and promised gifts. When the initial call came into my home the salesperson was very friendly, talked about his family and even seemed sympathetic with our current economy situation. He was like talking to a family member. If he told me about the 120 minute presentation I did not hear. When they call you just hang up. I purchased in February 2009. I called July 2009 to book my rooms and the days I wanted are all booked up. I then asked for other dates and got those dates. When I asked about how I redeem my gifts the person on the phone tells me this will be given to me after I listen to the 120 minute sales presentation. When I told her I was not aware of that presentation she quickly put me on hold to retrieve the recorded tape.

Once I listened to it and did confirm that that was me and advised it was very convenient that the presentation part was put at the end of the recorded conversation and not at the beginning. She basically was rude and did not care. When I asked to speak to a manager he was silently already on the phone listening to everything I said and she said and was polite but basically did not care.

I told them I have a four year old and I am pregnant and I am not going to jeopardize my pregnancy and my child to a 120 pressured presentation. They did not care.

I also mentioned that while I was on hold I looked up this web site and told them about other complaints I read. They did not care. I told him I would also going to put a remark on this site to help others not get fooled by the sales calls. He basically said go ahead.

In reading the other comments on this site my family is better off just losing my $79 then losing time, future frustration, stress and our only vacation time we have as a family. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase anything from Wyndham Vacation. Just hang up! I just lost $79 but don't let it happen to you. Thank you everyone who posted about this company. you saved my only vacation time with my family.
