I am writing a second complaint against Xcel Energy. My first complaint to this commission was in November of 2007 concerning excessive charges to our home in Denver, CO. Xcel responded by placing a work order on our account; this work order was never completed, nor was any date and time set up to examine the problem. I spoke to several representatives of the company on the telephone over the next six months with no result. On April 24 the power to our unit was disconnected with no written notice. I contacted Xcel by phone, but they refused to discuss restoration of power without full payment. A partial payment based on more standard rates for a dwelling of this type was offered, but refused.
