#2 UPDATE Employee ..inside information
Resident Was Evicted For Non-Payment
AUTHOR: YES! Communities - ()
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 20, 2014
This complainant was recently evicted for non-payment, the complainant had not made a rent payment since February of 2014 and currently owes over $3000. As the picture shows our lease agreement includes a formaldehyde notice that informs residents our manufactured homes contain formaldehyde, as all manufactured homes do, each and every resident must read and sign this notice to ensure they are aware of this and that they are comfortable living in the home. This resident was no exception, he read and signed the formaldehyde notice before moving into the home in the community. In 1985 HUD (The Department of Housing and Urban Developement) permitted only the use of plywood and particleboard that conform to specified formaldehyde emission limits in the construction of prefabricated and mobile homes, this complaintants' home was manufactured in the mid 2000s and therefore complies with all HUD standards in regards the materials used during the manufacturing process.

If they try to hide it from you or your son, then it could be a rip off (and could be sued). However, it is in writing and the signer should be able to read, then it is NOT a rip off.
