I have lived at Yes comunnities for about 9 years and it has been a constant harassment for the past 4 years or so since the new manager took over (Christian).  I first want to say that I have a mixed racial family and I respect all races.  I say that because as I have read other posts, I see a pattern that Yes communities force out people who are not Hispanic.  I love all my neighnors so don't get me wrong it's not that I don't like living in a Hispanic community but I would like the rules to be the same for everyone.  There are a lot of dogs in our community and I am also a dog owner.  The dogs run around a lot but for some reason, the manager has singled me out and told me that I have lost my right to own a dog and even if my dog is in my house, I will be evicted.  He has portrayed my dog as a vicious dog which is simply not true.  All the kids in the neighborhood play with my dog as well as all the adults love him.  The manager stated that one of his maintenance men said my dog lunged at him to bite him but when I spoke to the guy who brought the notice, he said the dog chased his cart but when he stopped and got off the cart the dog went the other way.  There is one maintenance guy who said my dog lunged at him but when I questioned him he showed me a picture that he had taken of my dog (close up) and the dog wasn't paying any attention to him.  I have the friendliest dog ever and it seems like I am being singled out.  I have never been late for my rent the 9 years I've been here.  You would think that Yes would appreciate people who pay there rent on time.  I just don't understand how they can tell me that I can't have my dog in my house.  Is that legal?  I asked the manager about it and he said he has told me about my dog outside in my backyard and occasionally he has gotten out of the fence in the past 9 years and he said I have lost my rights to have a dog period.  I told him that all these dogs running around here and he singles me out and he replied that he is dealing with them when he finds out who they belong to.  That's an excuse because  he knows who they belong to and the dogs are chihuaha's (??spelling) and most of the Hispanics here have those dogs and I feel this is a predjudice act.  I told him that he's had more instances with me because I've lived here for nine years and these people live here only a few months but they're not getting eviction notices.  I'm calling Housing and Urban Development tomorrow to file a complaint.  I've complained to him for years about the racial issues and only recently they have allowed 4 African American families to move in here out of about 700 homes.  I want to speak to the District manager but as most of us know, it's impossible to get to talk to a live person.  You can only email or leave a detailed message so they have a chance to contact the manager and get their side of the story and stick behind them no matter what.  Then you won't get a call back because I've done that before.  It wasn't like this when I first moved here.  It was a dog and children friendly community but that's all changed.  I just don't need this harrassment becasue I am older and like others have stated, they know once you are here and own your home, your stuck because it's so expensive to move it.  Just not fair.  Anyone have any ideas?
