T-Mobile Refuse to honor insurance claim without drivers license or passport upload

The company who T-Mobile contracts with for the insurance told me I had to upload a copy of my drivers license or a passport to complete a broken glass claim and verify my identity. I informed them that was not going to happen, that I was filing the claim from my T-Mobile account, and had supplied the PIN during the claim processing. I spent HOURS on the phone with T-Mobile trying to get this resolved!

I AM NOT SENDING THAT INFORMATION OVER THE INTERNET TO ANYONE!!! Even a 3 way conversation with T-Mobile rep on the line would not move the insurance carrier from their ID verification stand.

So, I have a phone with broken glass that I have paid insurance on for months that I can't get covered because I will not upload sensitive documents over the internet to verify who I am. T-Mobile says they can't help. They are an agent for the company they contract with and they say they can't help. It's more like they won't help!! I am rethinking my choice of carriers and may just switch. I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE LIKE THIS BEFORE WITH ANY CARRIER I HAD BEFORE T-MOBILE!!
