In April of 2025 I purchased additonal services for my phone line from T Mobile that allowed me to have a fixed data roaming charge assed to my line as a one time one month payment to protect me from being charged international fees while vacationing in Mexico. The advertiesment for the servce clearly indicated this service would cover me while traveling in these Caribbean Markets. I was on a cruise and I may have made 3 calls over a 7 day trip from the boat. I was charged a whopping $300 in interantional roaming fees, because the coverage did not cover you at sea. I have pleaded several times with T Mobile they did not properly disclose this and I wanted the charges refunded. I have been a client for over 5 years and 26 years dating back to their predecessor Sprint. I have only been able to get a $50.00 credit. I obviously acted in advanced to prevent a situation like this. For a carrier who I have otherwise had a great relationship with, and my status with the company I beleive they can do more to help me avoid such a large cost because their write up was misleading.
