The company does not stick to their original signed contract. The price I was given at the estimate was 262 and I was charged 545. The foreman, Paul, is a criminal and tried to charge me another $100 for going two minutes over the alloted 3 hour time slot given. Then I complained to him and he said are you giving me a cash tip and I said I was going to and then he said well then I won't charge you the extra $100 for going over the 3 hours if you will put that extra $100 towards our tip, then he said I would rather have the money go in our pockets then in the companies pocket. They were tipped low, much lower then I was going to. I didn't want to tip them at all but I am not that mean of a person and it wasn't the poor movers fault the company is owned by crooks. I had 11 items to be moved only 15 miles. 1 of them needed to be packed and had glass on top. When they got to my apt, Paul, seemed so shocked that there was a piano, he then said it was going to be $200 extra to pack it, the piano was on the list of items to be moved and I saw his list, it was on there and it was on my list as well so it was bull that they didn't know I had a piano. They tried to charge me and extra $200 to pack it and some how it got down to an extra $75. Rip off! All they did was put a piece of cardboard and bubble wrap over the top. The glass coffee table was then an extra $20 to pack. The rest of the overage was packing tape. Now, I had a 2 couches and a mattress that did not need to even be wrapped or packed or taped but they insisted and used about 9 rolls of tape on each item. The tape came to almost $100 extra. What a company. Tara, the girl who takes the orders changed my price per hour without even telling me. Over the phone, it was $75 an hour and was also $75 in the first e-mail and in the last e-mail, it went to $99 and hour. Then the night before they started, they said they cannot do any move under 2.5 hours so my move was moved up to 3 hours, so of course I would be charged more. Then also the night before, I was sent another e-mail that said we no longer charge in half hour increments so for this extra half an hour, I was charged $99, the hour price. Rip off! No one even bothered to call me and tell me, I just kept getting e-mails and when I called them, I was just some bull s excuse by Tara after being passed around from person to person.Mind you, I had 11 items to move 15 miles. I was charged almost as much as we paid to move our entire house. It also seems this company keeps changing their address.This is not a legit moving company, esp the way the forman acted, like a crook. Asking me for a large tip in place of him leaving off some bull s overage charge of $100. They didn't even start at 9AM on the dot so trying to charge me $99 for running 2 minutes over was criminal. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I am sorry I used them and I just wanted it done with and for them to get out of my house and mind. Also, while I am on a roll, more English speaking would have been nice, this is the USA.
