Never thought to do a background check on this company but sure wish I had.  Right away I didn't like the 3 guys that ALL STAR MOVERS sent (I almost told them to leave, but I didn't beacuse I HAD to be out of my rental & was stuck) they imediately started trying to charge me more for larger items, TV, shrink wrap & going up a "second story". Called the office & spoke with one of the women in the office about this & she spoke with the driver (I assumed all was taken care of), I was wrong. The movers (if you want to call them that, I think they came from a half way house) had NO respect for any personal property including the walls of my rental house, yelling loud & they also thought it was OK to help themselves to my food in my kitchen. They also work VERY slow & milk it so you have to pay more for their "hourly rate". It took them 4 hours for something that should have been done in 2 hours.

They had a 23 foot budget rental (that they had to bust the lock off.....that should have been my second clue to send them home) & couldn't fit all of my stuff in one load (even though I recently moved here & fit everything into a 16 foot truck).  I only wanted movers because I needed 1 large item moved & that didn't even make it on the truck.

We get to the new house & they start unloading the truck, about half way through they give me the bill & my response is that they aren't finished & still have a second load at the rental house INCLUDING my 1 large item. Then I notice my BRAND NEW couch is damaged in all corners & there is metal sticking out of it because they damaged it so bad. They immediately STOP UNLOADING THE TRUCK & the fighting back & forth with the movers & the office begins. It was so bad I nearly called the Police & I regret not doing it. The office women will tell you anything they think you want to hear in order to "satisfy" you & get you to pay your bill. They were supposed to come back to the rental house for the second load & needless to say they NEVER came back. The next day I called & kept beig promised that someone was coming, to make a long story short they NEVER showed up. We ened up having to move the rest of the stuff ourselves & had to hire another moving company to move the 1 large item.

My regret in this whole experience is not doing a back ground check, lesson learned I guess. This was possibly the worst experiences of my life in dealing with companies. Later on I learned that they do this to eveyone & should not even be in business. I can't understand why Arizona hasn't done something about this company.  Stay FAR away from these guys, you'd be better off hiring a donkey to move your stuff.

All I have to say is what comes around, goes around & pay back is a B***h.
