I am 70 years old on a low fixed income (social Security) and was told that I could apply for a free cell phone since I struggle making ends meet.  Although this offer is suppose to be throughout the united states, I have found no one offers this service to my area but assurance wireless.  I filled out my application and went to the library with my needed documents and had all faxed to their fax number on July 1 2016.  I have called several time to check and see if my fax was successful and have  got no real answer at any time.   If this is suppose to be a government program,  it's kind of scary to see how you send vital info to these people and no one knows nothing   !
