I ordered a product from this store in early September of 2009.  My product arrived missing several parts which made assembly impossible. The extra battery which I paid for was also missing from the order. Reaching this company by the listed telephone number is impossible. There is no answering service, no voicemail. Only a digital voice informing the caller to call back at a later time.

Banana Hobby has never answered any of my emails. I have spoken to them several times via live chat and they have always told me 'oh yes the parts have been shipped'.  When I have requested a tracking number, the customer service representative dissconnects the chat.

A few days ago, I conducted a live chat conversation with three 'different' operators.  The first one presented me with two different tracking numbers. The USPS informed me that the first tracking number was associated with an electronic file which was created months before and that the second number did not exist. I spoke with Banana Hobby again. They said they would email me the tracking numbers. I informed them that if the tracking numbers did in fact exist, they could provide me with these numbers immediately and an email would not be necessary. They refused and the email was never sent. A few hours later, I contacted them again via live chat and they provided me with another tracking number. Just one this time, though they had informed me a few hours eariler that my products would be received in two shipments with two seperate tracking numbers.

I have spoken extensively with the USPS as to the situation.

The product that I did receive (though due to the lacking parts it is essentially a paper weight) is of extremely poor quality and is not as described on the website. It is constructed out of cheap styrofoam, similar to that used in packing.

Buyer beware.
