i am one of the latest victims of banana hobby. i ordered a $386.00 rc boat. the order was incomplete, used and inoperable. the battery charger was missing. the pictured controller was substituted with a less expensive controller and the shipment contained zero instructions or parts list. further more the esc was inoperable and the unit does not work. it appears this unit was returned by someone else then shipped to me. nothing was in its origional packaging and the unit was not as pictured in the advertisement photo.

the replacement and return policies ar burried on their site in the support section. the terms make it impossible to get a refund or exchange for defective merchandise.shipment of replacement or defective parts and materials are at your expense regardless if it's their mistake or not.

this company seems to thrive on getting your money and then arguing with you or ignoring you until your payment goes thru the credit card company and it's to late to dispute the charges.

with over 300 complaints to the better business bureau and numerous complaints on line this is a company to stay away from at all costs.

Dear customer,


It does not seem like you have tried to contact us regarding this matter. Please give us your order number and we will be more than happy to assist you. If you have received something that has been damaged and incomplete, you were supposed to have contacted us with digital pictures as proof so that we can help you get a replacement on the way as you have paid a lot for this item. 

As for our policies, it was your responsibility to read our policies carefully first before placing an order rather than reading it and finding that you disagree afterwards. We do try to help our customers in getting what they have paid for and it is never too late to contact us as long as you are under our 30 day warranty in which you are supposed to report any problems in within 30 days of receiving it. If it does not work, and you are still under warranty, we will offer tech support and if necessary, you can send it back for us to repair or replace. If you did not receive any instructions, you were supposed to have contacted us first on how to operate an item rather than to assume which controls operate which part of the boat and possibly damage your boat that way.

Our rating with the Better Business Bureau is currently a "B" so all of those complaints have been resolved or from customers who have never even looked at our policies before purchasing so we do urge you to read a company's policies first before agreeing to them by placing your order.
