I closed my CREDIT CARD with Citibank in January of 2005 and cancelled the credit protection at the same time but they were still charging me for the protection, I started with phone calls for over 6 months.

Then certified letters and all I would get back was some computerized letter from some S.Larson Person with a paragraph stating the I enrolled by pressing something like number 1,2,7 to enroll I can't even believe that this , I wrote back that I wasn't disputing that I enrolled I am disputing that it was cancelled and then I received another letter from S. Larson (The department Head of customer service) stating the the fees billed prior to that date (10/2005) are valid and non-refundable! After over another 6 months period after many more letters and calls they say they credited me all they owe BUT by this time I'm not even sure what my balance that I supposed owe is valid! THIS BALANCE IS STILL IN DISPUTE!

The next step was a payment sent to them in February of 2006 that I wrote on "PAID IN FULL" in error requested the check back and they wrote back to me again that we just process the checks we do no look at them and we can not send it back!

So again another dispute on the balance if you except a check marked "PAID IN FULL" then you accept the terms! They disagree and I have requested there disclosures 4 times and have not received them YET! (06/20/2006) I recevied a computerized letter (now all there correspondence to me is computerized)stating "If a payment(s) is received by us, it will be processed for the amount on the written line. We are unable to return the payment to you or destroy it."

Now I just learned today after calling and getting the run around that the letters that I have been sending to them for all of these disputes have not been good enough according to Sandra who referred this to her supervisor. (06/20/2006) Now they tell me that I need to be more specific like I haven't been!! And start the process all over regarding my balance dispute.

Oh and yes I requested there disclosures regarding the CITI CREDIT CARD and specificly asked for the one that states how they process payments and I could not be assured that this information would be in the disclosure that Sandra supposedly is now sending to me again!
After a year and a half they have not put a dispute on my account and they have reported me to the credit bureau!
HOW UNFAIR IS THIS!!!
