Closeoutgenius Bait and switch, non-delivery of ordered product Las Vegas Nevada

I like the other consumers who posted complaints, ordered a product, a camera in my case advertised at a very low price, about $50 below other "legit" web dealers. Like others who posted stories here, I got
an email which said I had to call them. I called them and sure enough, they tried to sell me an accessory (spare battery) at a greatly inflated price. $70. instead of ~$15 elsewhere. After I kept saying no, no no,
the salesman said good buy, enjoy the camera. A week later I check my credit card's web site and they haven't charged my card.

If they charged our card but didn't deliver, that would be Fraud/theft. What they are doing is certainly annoying, dishonest, unethical etc. By putting up the website and concluding the credit card transaction,
they did enter into a contract and non-delivery is a breach of that contract. But I think that we as potential customers would have to sue them in small claims court.

The website says delivery is 7~12 days. After that time, if anyone is reading this, we should go to our credit card company and ask that the "approved" credit card to closeoutgenius be recinded, because we feel the company is acting under fradulent conditions. We should then ask that the credit card company charge Closeout Genius a small say $10 fee for having to process a "Fraud" related cancellation. If the credit card companies actually do this and this policy becomes widely
known, this type of behavior will actually stop.

It's not clear the credit card companies will do this, but I urge everyone reading this to write emails/ messages to their credit card companies.

Adding fees like this actually helps the credit card companies and if it became widespread, would either end this type of behavior or put companies like CloseoutGenius out of business.
