 Do not do business with Cram101 (Cram101.com). They have terrible customer service and they made it obvious how they do not read email complaints sent to them. A few days ago I signed up for their service but during processing my card their junky website completely locked up and never progressed beyond the "please wait processing card" screen - and it never finished setting up my account because of this, I have no password, cannot login, and was not able to "retrieve" a password since I do not exist in their system according to their site.

I contacted them via their contact form and they got back to me the next day. In the email to me they asked for my information I had submitted (which I had previously provided) but apparently they didn't read or something and asked for it again. I replied to their email with even more information.

I received what looked like an "auto reply" at the very end of the day saying I can only contact them through their form? Apparently you cannot directly reply to them or something (not mentioned in their original email).

I yet again sent the same info through via their form a long with an explination of what happened and that since they seem to have "issues" with reading to just send me a refund since my account was never set up in the first place!

Here is the reply I got (obviously they still are having reading comprehension issues!):

The charge is valid and appropriate to the membership you signed up for on Cram101. The terms of service follow that are part of your registration.

This comletely stupid reply above made it obvious they 1. did not read my email that my account was never set up! and 2. are trying to cover themselves with legal nonsense in order to steal my money by not fulfilling end of their own bargain/contract!

Well thankfully I paid via my Paypal card which offers complete coverage against fraud idiots like this company. I urge everyone no to bother doing business with a company who can't be bothered to READ or COMPREHEND emails.
