Cricket - Cricket Broadband Modem Rebate Ripoff Florence Kentucky

I filled out the rebate form per the somewhat absudly cumbersome instructions which includes cutting up the box the product came in and taping it to the reabte form. I mailed it El Paso, TX. I checked the website rebate status several times and no luck. After waiting the 8 weeks advised by the website, I called Cricket. They stated they never recieved the form and couldn't even tell me what product I'd purchased based on my information. After several minutes on hold and giving him the device information, the guy then told to goto the website and download the form and remail it with copies of the reciept, UPC, etc. The form, of course, stated that the rebate period had expired.

So basically, I didn't get my $50 rebate and am feed up with fooling with it. I can honestly say that this is par for the course when dealing with mail in rebates. I can count on 1 finger the number of rebates I've actually recieved.

I've come to the conclusion that they are just a ripoff.
