first, I want to start off by saying that I think dish And all of its employees are nothing but a bunch of scammers and liars! I went to go get money out of my checking account to pay my rent and car payment only to find that Dish Netwok had taken $1,052 out of my account. I have not had dish! The account was for my sister in law and not even for me! I had used my debit card to pay her bill a few times. I have a family, 2 small children and I can't pay my bills because of this. When I called they refused to do anything about it. How is this fair? This was not even my account nor my responsibility! How am I supposed to take care of my children or give them a place to live? I need my money returned and I will do what I have to in order to get it back! I will NEVER sign with dish!

The problem is your card is on file with them. This means you must have paid a bill with it. This also means that if ANYTHING happends with the service its YOUR card that gets dinged. There is no remedy for this situation. Your sister in law pretty much boned you because you did a favor for them. You will have to collect this from her. You can try and keep after Dish, the problem is that your card got tied to her account. If you can prove that you never had their services and this is a identity theft issue they MIGHT work with you. Its unfortunate when situations like this arise. In the future ONLY pay your bills with your card. If a family member asks you to, decline that invatation. The moment you use your card to pay someone elses bill, your card goes on their file as "good".
