I had crappy service with Dish network. Satellite lost signal all the time, they never hooked up all the rooms like they were suppose to.
After one year of there service I called to see what kind of deals I could get. There response was none. I got aggravated and hung up. I called back the next day going to cancel. The lady tried saying, oh well I can give you some vouchers. I mentioned why didn't the guy offer anything yesterday. Her response, we just started this today. I told her I am not stupid, it was not just started, you are offering it because I am calling to cancel.
So time to cancel service. I call to cancel and they tell me you are getting charged $210 for canceling, and you will get charged up to $400 for each box and the end of the dish cone. You have thirty days from today to return everything. Oh and its $15pretty each for shipping you have to pay. It will take up to ten days to get your boxes to return it in. I told them I was not going to get on the roof to take apart their dish to send it back. They needed to send someone to do it. They told me to find someone to do it.
This company has bad customer service, they are rude. I mentioned I will run the boxes to a local dish place and they told me no I was not allowed to do that, had to ship it. They want there equipment but you have to pay for them to get it back, and to charge for you canceling their service is wrong. Ad to tell me to get on the roof or find someone to do it so they can get their equipment all back so a tech doesn't have to come out is wrong. So now their is going to be a empty dish on top of the house in the front just chilling there. When that comes down we will have to patch the holes up. They don't care.
Think before you go with dish network. I have never had so bad of service with any cable company. I only went to dish because they were having a good deal which they ended up charging me more every month then what I signed up for. This company makes me sick. The ceo should be ashamed to run a company like that.
