Embrace Home Loans Ran credit and submitted application without permission Newport, RI / St. Louis, MO Rhode Island

When speaking with a representative from Enbrace, I made it VERY clear that I DID NOT want to fill out an application and just wanted to speak in hypotheticals about a loan. While their salesperson seemed to respect my wishes during our conversation, I havce since received a "decline" letter from them! Now I have an inquiry on my credit that shouldn't be there. More important, I have been lied to and treated fraudulently. DO NOT trust Embrace with anything! They will blatently lie to you and then submit the application, assumingly to meet a bonus for taking applications or something.
